The world of modern pop music has been worriedly awaiting this day and the release of recent pop sensation Lady Gaga‘s title track from her upcoming CD Born This Way.
I took a listen and thought it sounded vaguely familiar, Mainly the chorus of the song. Without even thinking about it, a little while later I was humming the song to myself.
But wait! It wasn’t Lady Gaga I was humming… it was Madonna! That’s right. I was humming Madonna’s 1989 hit “Express Yourself”.
I immediately went back to take a second listen to Born This Way, and immediately it launched into the chorus, I had no problem completely replacing Gaga’s goods with the lyrics and melody to Express Yourself.
